At Union Church of Pocantico Hills, visitors can experience world-class stained-glass art in an intimate setting. The highlight of the church is its stunning stained-glass windows—Henri Matisse's final work, the Rose Window above the altar, and nine windows by Marc Chagall, including a large "Good Samaritan" scene and eight Old Testament-inspired panels. Commissioned by the Rockefeller family, these works transform the small stone church into a sanctuary of color and light.
Self-paced tours are offered from May-December. Tours begin with a brief introduction and allow time to take in the windows at your own pace. The site is wheelchair accessible.
